Huber Habit – 9/5/2017
Greetings from the Huber,
Labor Day, a day to set aside for special recognition of working people. For most this means the end of summer, schools have started back, pools are closing up for the season. If you were off this day I hope you got to enjoy the warm weather and had a chance to relax.
We have a movie coming up this Sunday the 10, at 3 pm. ‘Boss Baby’ . A hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old, named Tim. $ 2.00 a seat, with free bay of popcorn.
On Thursday, Sept 21 it will be a busy day here at the Huber, In the morning from 9 – 11 the Huber Boys are hosting a gathering. MEET THE COPS.
The Police and the Sheriff Dept. will be here so you can come talk and to know them. Hopefully Josh Flanary, dog handler and the K-9 dog will also be here. There will be free coffee and donuts from Farmer American Legion. This is not just for town folk, if you know any homeschoolers let them know.
Then in the evening of Sept. 21, the Senior Saints will be here at 7 pm. This year’s theme is ‘Travel On’. Through song and narration, you will hear the history of transportation from walking to soaring in space. Saints will share stories of adventures they have experienced. They celebrate through music that Jesus walks with us daily, on this road of life. Free will donation greatly appreciated. Here’s to seeing you at the Huber!
