The Huber Opera House & Civic Center is the perfect venue for your special gathering whether it be a wedding, a baby shower, an anniversary celebration, or business meeting.
We can offer rooms for a few or many. The Auditorium and balcony can accommodate nearly 500 or the community rooms are perfect for a smaller gathering of up to 100.

Rentals always include time prior to the event for you to bring in decorations to customize it to any occasion. There are several décor items which we may have for you to use for a small additional charge. We can also suggest several caterers in the area who have catered events in our facility.
The Huber is a hidden gem in Northwest Ohio just for you.
How to book our venue
To check on availability, call the Huber Office (419-542-9553) and speak with Janice or Chris. We can get you on our calendar over the phone.
Next, we will ask you to stop in to the office to sign a contract and make a $50 deposit to secure your reservation (non-refundable).
Within a couple weeks prior to your event, we will finalize details with you including how to access the facility, review clean-up procedures, and collect half of the balance due and address any other questions you may have.
Rental Options
Theater & Auditorium Rental
Full Theater with newly installed lighting and updated sound system. Productions will have use of stage for 2 weeks prior to final show date. Sound and Lighting Technicians Available (hourly rate). Mics available for rental. Stage is 35’ x 25’. Auditorium seats 400 or seating for 100 at tables on auditorium floor with 200 theater seats. Additional seating (100) in balcony. Rental Includes 2 weeks of rehearsal time prior to show.
Rental rates:
$500 per show night.
Weddings & Wedding Receptions
The Huber stage is a perfect setting for your wedding with options available for backdrops and décor. Auditorium seats 400. Or seating for 100 at tables on auditorium floor with 200 theater seats and additional seating (100) in balcony. Sound and Lighting Technicians Available (hourly rate). Mics available for rental. Community rooms included in rental to provide space for bridal party to dress and prep. Rental includes day prior to wedding for decorating and wedding rehearsal.
Rental rates:
$750 for wedding only;
$1000 for wedding and reception.
Meetings, Family Gatherings & Celebrations, Bridal or Baby Showers, Birthday Parties, Small Weddings
Community Rooms available for medium sized gatherings or meetings. Free Wi-Fi. Attached and covered patio is perfect to expand the space (included in rental).
Auditorium also available for larger groups. Sound and Lighting Technicians Available (hourly rate). Mics available for rental. Rooms rented on hourly rate based on time of event.
Rental rates:
Auditorium & Stage: $150/hr.
Auditorium only: $100/hr.
Community Rooms: $50/hr.
