The Women, Infants, and Children Program (WIC) is a federally funded supplemental nutrition program. WIC aims to improve the health of the community by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, nutritious foods, and referrals to other health and human services agencies. The WIC program serves income eligible pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to 5 years of age. Anyone interested in applying for WIC in Defiance County can do so by calling the Defiance County WIC office at 419-782-7770. Monthly clinics will also be held at the Huber, typically on the first Wednesday of each month
